CapeClarke is proud to have been retained by Clean Energy sector focused Switch Mobility to source its new Senior Legal Counsel based in its Sherburn in Elmet office.
Switch Mobility is a next-generation electric bus and light commercial vehicle company with the mission to enrich lives through green mobility.
Part of the Hinduja Group, Switch Mobility is a mature start up which was forged from the innovative EV elements of Ashok Leyland, the fourth largest bus original equipment manufacturer in the world, and Optare, the UK bus manufacturer with over a century of expertise in using the latest technologies in bus design. In 2014, Switch (then Optare) introduced the first British built, pure electric buses to London’s roads and since then has put 300 EVs on the road, clocking up over 50 million electric kilometres in developed and developing markets.
The organisation is now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its small legal team headed by Andy Curtis. The role is broad and has the potential to develop into a role heading up the UK legal function. There is also an overseas legal team situated in Spain and India. The role will report directly into Andy with significant interaction with the board.
